Meetings
All ANU students are members of ANU Observer by default. All members are welcome to attend and vote at General Meetings, which are held at least once per semester. Editors, the News Team and the Visual Team meet weekly. The Board meets approximately once every month. These meetings are confidential in nature and so are open only to Observer officers. You can find the public minutes for these meetings below.
General Meetings
General Meetings are open to all ANU students. They are the only meetings at which changes to the ANU Observer Constitution can be made, and at which the annual elections for Elected Officer roles take place. The next General Meeting will occur in September 2025. Please submit any agenda items you may have to board@anuobserver.org.
Board Meetings
Board Meetings are only open to members of the Board of Directors. As the governing body of the ANU Observer, Board Meetings focus on governance, policy, and the ANU Observer’s strategic vision. These meetings occur approximately once every fortnight, unless an additionals emergency meeting is called.

Note: any ANU student is able to contact the ANU Observer Arbitration Panel at arbitration@anuobserver.org and request that an elected official have their allowance reduced. For more information on this, please refer to the Honorarium Submission Guide.
